Petplan’s broadest plan offers coverage for extras like boarding fees if you are within the hospital and even travel expenses if you want to cut a vacation short due to a pet illness or emergency.
Petplan offers coverage altogether 50 U.S. states and D.C. Its U.S. operations started in 2003 but the corporate has been in business for over 35 years within the UK. Standard plans guarantee coverage for accident or injury, prescriptions, x-rays, examinations, surgery, diagnostic treatment, cancer care, and dental treatments.
Annual coverage limits are $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 or $25,000 with deductibles starting from $100 to $1,000. The reimbursement pay depends on the plan you select but ranges from 70 to 90 percent.
