8. Chow Chow
The Chow Chow – may be a dog breed originally from northern China, where it’s mentioned as Songshi Quan which suggests a “puffy-lion dog”. I believed that the Chow Chow is one of the local puppies used because the model for the Foo dog, the normal stone guardians found ahead of palaces and Buddhist temples. it’s one of the few oldest puppies breeds still alive within the world until today. Available for about $8500.
Chow chow can adapt to a spread of homes, from palaces to flats. But they have to always live indoors with their people, not attached call at a backyard or kennel. They don’t bear hot well, so keep them indoors when the weather is sultry.
