The Akita with a price over $4500 may be a powerful and large dog breed with an intimidating presence and noble. He was usually used for guarding nobility and royalty in feudal Japan. He’s a bold and stable guard of his family.
The Akita is happiest and does perfectly when living inside together with his family. This breed isn’t hyper, but he does need exercise daily. Thirty minutes to an hour each day is enough for an Akita.
